Just posted this because I thought it might make an interesting discussion, not saying this is an original idea. It also may be helpfull to anyone wanting to know where their main/ fave character is ranked.

I think tiers are for queers.

It's not the character, it's the skill of the player

I agree, it is down to the player, but characters must have certain matchups that are good and bad, due to how the character perfoms.

i think the character really does matter. poke is a good example about that, a jolly floatzel is good, but has no chance against arceus. the same with close range and long range brawlers

O.o i thought diddy's peanut popper gun was realllly bad xD . i just use it to make the opponent gaurd

And in Brawl, ROB is a ggreat character, but is countered by Falco, as Falco is better at camping and can chain grab ROB easily due to his weight

Most people at high tiers are only there because people think that if they play as that character theyw ill be better. So S tier to the end of the C tier is abused hilariously. Although i onl abuse Toon Link since i am AMAZUN wiff him. Tiers don't exist as i owned my friends with Ganondorf. Teirs = Unrealistic.
