Serious Attempt At Site Revival?

Just wondering if anyone at all is truly interested in this happening. If people are, a sincere effort can be put into this idea. I've started shuffling some things around to get a bit of a head start and now I'm working on this thread you're reading to see if it is worth taking this to the next level.

The ambition of this project would by no means be anywhere close to an easy task to accomplish, but I do believe it is manageable at this stage if done right. Granted, I have extremely little to go to support this on even as I'm typing this all up.

Site revival was a topic many months ago back in December shortly after the glitch was taken down that essentially shut down the forum from any progress. As we're standing here today clearly that went close to nowhere. That's something that is certainly unfortunate, but now is better than never to start a full court press on truly getting this topic nailed down.

Regardless of what the opinion is of the few people on here, hell, I only see two people aside from myself on here Z-Man is going to be the lynchpin. I sent him a PM to see if he's willing to go back to the field and get this done, so much of anything is tied up in him as he's the site owner and probably the key to many people of this site's past foundation who'd serve as the launch pad to the future.

I thought the general idea was that the few active people here were going to move on to that other site by pokegirl which seems to be doing well. This site is very cluttered with old forums and inactive members which would take time to clean up and start again, but it is an option that I would be ok with.

I've been tied up nonstop lately, but if enough people (besides just us 3) become regulars anything is possible. Also Pie I think that site is dead, unless it moved again...

I remember when I joined the original EPTC back when I started 7th grade and it's crazy to think I'm a high school senior now. There's been a lot of memories and if I can help to restore this forum at all I'd love to! Just let me know what I need to do.

I know it's been forever! I mean how many Pokemon generations have passed? like 2? Haha

I'm on board, I guess. Not sure if I can stick around 24/7 because school has had me tied up, but if there's anything I can do, I will sure try to help out around here !

I've been improving a lot at my banner skills, so I can try and make something for you guys on GIMP if you need someone for that.

Hmmm yes we may need some new banners, specifically a new main banner since the current one is out of date (though awesome). I don't expect anyone to be able to make a banner like that one (not even Ben could), but if it's good we can use it

I can be of help with tournaments on here since I have grown a lot in my pokemon battling skills since then a lot has changed

Yeah, haha. It happened right before you left I was bumped up to an Admin because of how long I was with the site and they needed so help. And I do actually still have access to the EPTC youtube channel. I can try accessing it later.

I'm willing to help with anything. My graphic design skills have grown tremendously since joining. I think it would also be fun if we had a new gym leader system introduced along with tournaments.

Sadly I don't remember the log in info to the EPTC Next Gen Youtube. But I'd be willing to help start and run a new one if someone else is willing and interested.

Oh really? Well that's awesome because as of now we already have one graphics person (Bluedew), and another would be great! Would you be interested in making a new background for the site? The current colors don't match the new banner   

For sure, once we get some more members around here we should definitely start up the tournies and gyms again

It'd be nice to get one going in the future, but my main concern was trying to seek out the info to get the word out to those ~75 subs the old YouTube account had. I imagine most of those sub accounts are as dead as most as this site's, but most of the accounts on here are as well yet here we are.

I had no idea that channel had so many subs, wow o__o
