The tier list is a list of all of the characters in Brawl, in order of their performance in offline tournaments. It is also based on advantages and disadvantages of each character, such as whether or not they have a projectile. The tier list is a way to predict the results of a match, and find out what kind of character you want to use.

You must remember though, the tier list is only a prediction on how well the characters perform. No matchup is impossible, (although some are close) so Meta Knight can be beaten by Ganon. I would know xD jk

idk about the whole ssbb tier idea. i mean, yea, i understand how mk and snake are the best, and they deserve to be recognized for it. but after that, the other tiers seem too much like guesses...

I would agree with that for the mid tiers like pit and fox etc because they tend to move around the most. However the bottom end of the tier list is about as accurate as the top

I'm sorry Pie but I have to disagree on a character, Luigi. F seems way too out of place for him. I know I'm not the best SSBB player but I could beat a Falco or any other higher tier...but maybe not you because you're crazy fast.

...how is iceclimbers not AT LEAST A tier? you basically cant grab them, and their grab chains are rediculous, not to mention fast a strong smashes that can easily be spammed, a projectile... or two actually, spiking ability, and a literal dummy character that can take hits and not rack up damage for the ice climber your controling.

yea ice climbers are awesome! and the other ice climber is not dumb...sometimes....

They aren't that difficult if you know what you're doing. When they are split up the cpu is gimp fodder, and then the solo climber is pretty much useless.
